Our Team 


General Manager

Steve comes to Mission Viejo with over 25 years of General Management experience including Yorba Linda, Marbella, and most recently Pauma Valley.  Steve was born and raised in Orange County, and currently resides in South County.  Steve is married to wife Carrie and together they have 3 children.


Head Golf Professional  

Chad Pettit grew up in Northern California in the small town of Ukiah. Mom and Dad Scott and Becky, brother Jason and sister Katie.  After graduating high school Chad attended The Professional Golfers Career College where he received his specialized associates degree in business golf management.  During his time in college he met his wife Katie at the age of eighteen.  Katie and Chad dated for nine years while they finished school and started their careers.  Katie is in the internal medicine veterinary field but currently is a stay at home mom.  They now have been married since 2007 and have two children, Evan and Ila.

Chad started in the Outside Service department of the Pauma Valley Country Club in 1997 while finishing his schooling at the Professional Golfer’s Career College.  After eight months, he was promoted to the Pro Shop staff and started his journey towards PGA membership.  In the summer of 2006, he was promoted to Head Golf Professional.  During his time in his position he has been responsible for all golf operations.  Chad also played in the 2007 Century Club matches which he qualified by being one of the top ten players in the San Diego chapter.

Chad's hobbies include taking his kids to the beach, all outdoor sports, wine & micro brew tasting, and he loves to cook & BBQ!  His all time low round was a 64 at Escondido Country Club, and he had a Hole-In-One at Sycuan Golf Club in the Pine Glenn Shoot Out.  Chad is happy to be a part of the MVCC Family.


Clubhouse Manager  

Ray is a Southern California native and grew up in the Saddleback Valley area.  Ray has been in the Food and Beverage business for 28 years and in private club management for 16 years, including Coto de Caza, Marbella, and El Niguel.  Ray and his wife Donelle live locally with their two daughters Makaela and Kiana.  He enjoys golfing, mountain biking, skiing, and going to hockey games.


Golf Course Superintendent 

Doug Rudolph is one of those rare creatures – a Southern California native! Doug came from a “golf industry” family and has made the golf business his career. Twenty-six of those years, Doug has been with the Pauma Valley Country Club, twenty-five as Head Golf Course Superintendent. He has a Turf Management degree from Mira Costa College, has been a Class “A” Superintendent with the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America, and active with the local chapter, (SDGCSA) for the past twenty-seven years. Doug is married to his lovely wife, LeEtta of fifteen years and has two children, Jamie and Chris from his first marriage.

Veronica Alva Roman 

Controller / Human Resources Director

Veronica Alva RomanVeronica, an Accounting graduate of Cal-State Fullerton, prepares the club’s financial statements and oversees our Human Resources activity. A So Cal native, Veronica has worked in the private club industry for many years, and looks forward to addressing any question the membership may have concerning financial matters at the Club. When away from the Club, Veronica and her husband, Gus, enjoy life’s pleasures with their son, Aiden.


Irene Yelvington 

Catering and Tournament Director

Irene, our Catering Director, has served the Club’s membership for many years in a variety of key food and beverage functions. A Canadian who now embraces the So Cal life, Irene makes every function hosted by the Club that special affair that a planner is seeking. Irene and husband, Jerry, enjoy life’s adventures with their two children Jake and Evalyn.


Lynnette Arreola 

Catering Events Sales Manager 

Lynnette has been with Mission Viejo Country Club since 2006 and served as Bella Vista Supervisor before taking on her current role as Catering Events Sales Manager.  Lynnette grew up in Central California and moved to Orange County in 2000.  She and her husband Jason enjoy life in the OC with their daughter Annika and their son J.J.


Membership Sales & Communications Director / Website Administrator 

Shannon is a native of Mission Viejo and graduated from the University of California, Irvine.  She started out at MVCC in the Golf Shop as the Merchandiser, and also worked in Member Relations before taking on her current role as Membership & Communications Director.  Shannon also works as a Professional Singer throughout Southern California.  She currently resides in Mission Viejo with her husband Tom (former MVCC Golf Pro) and their two sons Cameron and Connor.


Executive Chef

Aaron graduated top of his class from Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, CA in 2000.  He stayed in the Los Angeles area at restaurants such as Parkway Grill, Arroyo Chop House, Hollywood & Vine, and La Poubelle.  His other career endeavors included opening McKays restaurant and Lab Gastropub at the University of Southern California, he was the Executive Chef for the 2007 year of MTV's 'Malibu Beach House', and he worked in Temecula at Vail Ranch Steakhouse.  Aaron most recently worked as the Corporate Executive Chef of Stadium Brewing Companies, serving locations in Aliso Viejo, Redondo Beach, and Fullerton.

Aaron and his wife Tuesday have been married since 2014.  They have 3 dogs: Molly Mae, Maggie Sue, and Ruby Tuesday.  Aaron's hobbies include golf, traveling, hiking with the dogs, camping, fishing, and hunting.

Billy Casas

Tennis Director

Billy has been with MVCC since 2010 and is currently ranked #1 in Southern California Men's 40 Division, as well as #12 nationally.  Billy, an Orange County native and graduate of Cal-State Fullerton, is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional with a professional playing career since 1997. In that time, Billy has played on the European Satellite & ITF Circuit, and has been an active player in USTA Open Events. Billy’s Tennis Professional teaching career has fostered many successes over the years, as he developed top nationally ranked junior players, while coaching teams and running many clinics for adults and children. As a strength and fitness coach for players of all levels, Billy has developed an Elite Junior Program designed to assist players wishing to play in tournaments or aspiring to play at the college or professional levels. Billy’s tennis knowledge and enthusiasm for the game spearhead the Club’s tennis programs.  Billy and his wife Jenny have three children.


Facilities Director

Robert has 15 years experience as a maintenance mechanic, specializing in plumbing.  In 2010, he received his California State Certification for maintenance mechanic CF in Tracy, CA.

Robert is a California native who enjoys a peaceful life in San Clemente with his wife Delilah and two children Robbie and Avery.
